Autumn Term Round Up!

By -

Our first term back after the national lock down has been fabulous. Despite all the worry, complications and additional procedures we re-opened on the 5th October.

Saying we were thrilled to see all the children’s happy faces was an understatement, they beamed from ear to ear and loved seeing each other again and just having fun.

Our Head of Young Performers, Emily, designed COVID Secure classes for all age groups and was pleased to see such a good turn out. She said:

” I couldn’t wait to get back and see all the children again. I really missed them…attendance has been brilliant and children who have had to isolate were able to attend their classes online,
so nobody had to miss their classes’

Classes were going along swimmingly until we had a bombshell dropped…Our hall was going to  be used for COVID vaccinations and we had to vacate within the week! Anyone in this area will know that finding an unused hall to use is difficult at the best of times, especially one that is COVID secure…but we did find one and made the move as requested without any break in classes at all.

Of course the reason for us moving was a fantastic one and we are delighted to be playing our part in enabling this to happen – Lets hope we all get to have our vaccinations as soon as possible!

GENDROS COMMUNITY HUB

Our new home is The Gendros Community Hub, which meets all our requirements and we are already feeling at home there. Thank you to Ann and her team for making us so welcome, we are extremely grateful.

Our NEW Spring Term timetable is now online and bookings are being taken for the term that starts on Monday 4th January. Many of the classes are already fully booked, but we do have a few places left, so take a look and see what your child would like to take part in.

You can access the timetable via our BOX OFFICE on this website,
or simply CLICK HERE

In other news, we were delighted to secure castings for some of our talent management clients, with one of our older academy students, Tara, (pictured here) being booked for a CCBC television show, which she filmed in October – What an experience!

With only one week left of classes, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents of our students for having the confidence to send their children to our classes and patiently adapting to new class days, times and even a new location, it has been very much appreciated.

Wishing you all a very happy and healthy Christmas and we look forward to seeing faces old and new, back in the classroom in the New Year!
