At Musicality Academy, all our classes provide training in acting, singing & dancing. Our aim is to develop a passion for performing arts in children aged 4-18 as well as nurturing confidence & self-esteem by simply having FUN!
Musicality: My Way
(School Years: Reception – Year 6)
Mon – The Canoflan, Gorseinon 5.00-6.00pm
This playful and uplifting class is designed with your child’s unique spirit in mind!
Children can expect a fun-packed class full of acting, singing, dancing, and drama games, without the ‘expectation’ of having to perform.
The age group is extended to enable siblings and friends to enjoy their class together, instead of having to attend different age-group classes.
No shows, costumes or competitions – because this isn’t about becoming a star…it’s about helping your child feel like one, just by being themselves!
Musical Theatre – Mini Musicality (School Years: Reception – Year 2)
Tue – The Canoflan, Gorseinon 5.00-6.00pm
The Mini’s are introduced to Musical Theatre in a fun way and are excited to get to class each week. They enjoy hilarious drama games, exhilarating songs, and expressive dancing.
The classes are designed above all, to encourage and build self-confidence in a safe and controlled environment.
Classes are well-staffed and have pastoral support, ensuring the best possible provision for your little performer!
My daughter loves it so much her little brother has joined too. Such a supportive group, I would recommend Musicality to everyone.
Musical Theatre – Junior Musicality (School Years: 3-6)
Mon – The Canolfan, Gorseinon 6-7pm
Tue – The Canolfan, Gorseinon 6-7pm
The Junior classes are designed to create a passion for Musical Theatre and encourage children to express themselves through the medium of acting, singing, and dancing.
Pupils are encouraged to perform, both individually and as part of an ensemble, and will learn many new skills that will help them develop into confident performers.
Above all though, they have tremendous fun!
I recently joined Musicality and from day one I felt accepted there. I have never felt more welcomed nor appreciated than I have at Musicality and I am so glad that I decided to join.
Musical Theatre – The Academy
(School Years 7-11+ College students to aged 18)
Mon – The Canolfan, Gorseinon 7-9pm
Tue – The Canolfan, Gorseinon 7-9pm
Students learn to nurture their performance skills within a safe environment that enables them to experiment confidently with various different dance genres, singing techniques and vocal exercises, and of course acting techniques.
The students also learn the importance of staying fit, stage presence, microphone technique, and theatre terms in readiness for their time on stage. Many of our past students are now working within the performing arts industry.
As a parent, I can see the commitment, dedication and professionalism from the Musicality team and how they nurture the children to bring out their personalities and find their inner confidence.
