Yes, you read that correctly…A short reel posted to Instagram during a recent class, has already had 1.2 million views and is still growing. The reel has also had over 8000 likes! (which means the notifications on the phone have been going mad!!)
We were excited when the views reached 50k but over 1 million….that’s insane! We are bemused, but absolutely thrilled! Who knows why this particular video has created such a response and has gone viral, we don’t suppose it’ll happen again, but you never know! The short video footage (only 6 seconds long!) captures some of our lovely academy students playing a simple warm-up game, designed to improve teamwork, sharp thinking and reaction time.
We have two academy classes: Mondays 6.30-8pm and Tuesdays 7-8.30pm. The students are all aged 11-14 and receive tuition in Musical Theatre. We are currently rehearsing for our next production of The Wizard of Oz.
