Academy member Dion James makes Musicality proud by winning
a Silver medal in the recent British Weightlifting Championships.
Dion, who is only 16 years old and from Llanelli, is training hard with the hope of entering into the Commonwealth Games 2022. At Musicality Academy, he was most recently seen playing the part of Mr Brownlow in our production of ‘Oliver’ last year and is currently in rehearsal for ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’.
We are very proud that Dion is able to combine his passion for the arts with his sport and is a shining example to boys everywhere that it is very cool to do both!
We wish him every success with his weightlifting and hope that his sporting colleagues will support him when he nexts treads the boards in July this year!
