Musicality Nominated for 4 NODA Awards for ‘Oliver!’

By -

We are thrilled to have been NODA nominated for our recent production of ‘Oliver!’ which was performed at The Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot in July 2016!

NODA – The National Operatic & Dramatic Association have nominated us for 4 awards:

  1. Best Individual Performer 2016 – Elysia Coates for her role as ‘Nancy’
  2. Best Technical Production – ‘Oliver’
  3. Best Production – ‘Oliver!’ for District 5 (Wales & Ireland)
  4. Best Production – ‘Oliver!’  for the entire region (Wales & Ireland)

The awards ceremony takes place in Hereford at the end of May 2017 and will be attended by all those nominated in the region of Wales & Ireland and we cant wait to get our glad rags on!  Musicality was lucky enough to have attended the awards last year too, where we picked up the award for ‘Best Production’ (District 5) for ‘The Addams Family’, so we are hoping for the double this year! We are particularly delighted at also receiving the Regional nomination which is an absolute honour and as we are now in rehearsal for our next show ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’, we can only keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Thank you to everyone who made the production such a success, including, cast, crew and all the families and friends that helped front of house, back stage and in between! As always…we couldn’t do it without you!

We look forward to seeing all our friends from the region at Hereford in May…Here’s to a successful and enjoyable evening!

Talented Elysia Coates will be playing ‘Millie’ in our forthcoming production of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ To book tickets, please CLICK HERE
