Thank You NODA for the Fabulous Review!

Our review for Peter Pan is in,  and what a glowing report it is! Thank you NODA

I was thrilled to be invited to see the junior section of this very talented company in their own production and they really did entertain the entire audience in this clever production of Peter Pan Jr.

The audience were sat in traverse with the action no more than a few feet in front of them and the cast really relished this, being able to interact with each member of the gathered parents and friends. Levels were achieved by the innovative use of boxes and the stage at one end of the hall. The costumes were lovely and the sound was impressively well-balanced.

The whole company were obviously having an absolute ball in this production and the high energy and commitment given by each member was palpable. The singing was outstanding and the choreography well-rehearsed. The Lost Boys were very good indeed with Trystan Ovens, Sally Smith, Amelia John, Toby Gravell, Nina Zreik and Rhia Hiscott giving their all.

There were some very fine performances from the principal cast with Mrs Darling being played well by Anwen Owen and Anna Stubbins giving lovely character to Liza the Maid. Nana the dog was cleverly played by Ffion Lewis. Lois Simons was a lovely Tiger Lily and Lucy Dawson a great sidekick to Captain Hook as Smee. The Darling children were delightful with Tara Wells as Wendy, Finley Greenall as John and Jack Oliver as Michael.

Two outstanding performances were given by Iestyn Jennings as both Mr Darling and Captain Hook, who was quite brilliant as both and gave great characterisation, and by Charlotte Eales in the title role of Peter Pan. Charlotte had amazing stage presence and led the cast ably through the show with great acting and demonstrating a very fine voice indeed. A star of the future here.

Many thanks and huge congratulations to the entire company!
