We are back from an amazing residential rehearsal weekend with our wonderful cast and crew of ‘We Will Rock You’ and what a weekend it was!
Apart from hours and hours of rehearsals, we enjoyed our very own MODA Awards, Karaoke session, and disco…we also celebrated 3 of our Musicality family who attended the actual NODA Awards in Newport and raised a glass to their fabulous nominations! Congratulations to Emily, Amelia and Tara.
We were woken up at 7am by Emily singing ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go Go’ and banging saucepans (A Musicality tradition), enjoyed fun warm up sessions in the beautiful grounds and of course…there were the ducks! (You will have to ask a student who was there to explain that one!)
We finished the weekend by running the show with each of the 2 casts, before students went home to sleep!
I am so proud of my wonderful team who’s dedication enables us to run this weekend each year and to each and every student who enjoyed themselves to the max and who didn’t complain once that they weren’t allowed their phones! They are the best!
